I'm in the second year of a BTEC course. Last year I did pretty well but this year I'm struggling.

My out of college life isn't fantastic, coupled with the fact that the lecturers are half arsed and have no passion for the subject has meant that my attendance has dropped and I haven't completed any work.

My dilemma is that I need to complete this course for the job I want. Should I tough it out this year or should I redo this year during my apprenticeship next year? I currently have a job that are happy to take me on full time.

Would really appreciate some opinions. Thanks all

You need to find out if:
    1. Its an option to do the year again.
    2. You can pull it back.

    Missing lessons is your responsibility.
Blaming it on lecturers and lack of passion is a kop out.

If you have damaged your marks so much and its possible to retake then I would retake.

If its not possible or you can pull it back then I would get my arse into gear and sort it out. No excuses. Sounds like you are making a real mess of it.

You need to see whats possible and ofc you could focus on your apprenticeship in the meantime.
