    Hi all,

I am looking for some advise really. I have decided i want to go back to uni and train to be a midwife. I already hold a BSc hons in a health and business degree which did include human biology and nutrition. (Please note this was not NHS funded) i got a 2.2, i was two marks off a 2.1 and my transcripts support this. What do you think my chances are of being accepted?
    thanks

Hi, I'm a student nurse but thought I might be able to help. Firstly, look at the entry requirements for the universities you are looking to apply to (contact them if need to), you will then get an idea of if your qualifications will be accepted and secondly, midwifery is competitive & gaining a place is not only dependent on qualifications but relevant experience & personal skills & qualities.
    I hope this helps.
