Do you find it helpful and tend to do better at exams? Or is it a distraction for you? If it is helpful, what do you listen to? If you find it distracting, what do you do to have an effective revision session?

I don't listen to music, but when I'm revising I like to have Radio 4 or BBC World Service on in the background.

    Sounds weird, I know.

I prefer to revise in silence. Besides, anything too upbeat gets me dancing instead of revising.
