Hello all! I have to make a choice soon and I was wondering, what would some pros and cons be of studying at this uni. How is the food, the sports facilities, the fact that it's a small village near a small city, and are there part-time jobs opportunities inside/outside Uni, or in the nearby areas?

In terms of jobs, Student Ambassador at Keele is a paid role you can get involved with.

Advantages are the great teaching and beautiful scenery.

Cons are shopping mainly. Costcutter on campus becomes your go-to for Food. Or you can buy hot stuff from places which is convenient but can get expensive if it's constant.

If you want more variety than Costcutter then add £4 onto a shopping trip because the bus is a bit pricy.

Sports facilities are good. Fully equipped sports centre. No swimming pool though.

The size of Keele village isn't really a factor. The campus is 10 times bigger than the village itself.

Thanks! And yeah, I was a bit worried about a part-time job/distances, not having my driver license yet and wanting to go for Environmental Sustainability...
