    i got 2A*’s 7A’s and 2B’s at GCSE.
for a level i’m doing biology, chemistry, psychology. i’m not actually aiming for 3A*’s bc that’s a bit unrealistic for my ability but i would like to know revision techniques that enable a student to get those grades. thank!!!

Flash cards, mind maps, practice papers, making quizzes, repetition, attending all your lessons, making use of extra revision sessions at school, making a revision timetable, checklist of everything on the specification. I got A*AB + A in EPQ doing these things.

I revised for one to two weeks only and got A*A*A*. I’m thinking about starting a thread in how I did it.

I got the same grades at GCSE like you and all I can say is that at A-level if you put the hours and work in, you will definitely succeed. Don't put a ceiling on yourself because of your past grades. They were who you was. Now is your chance to prove yourself and make your goal a reality. Don't let anybody tell you it isn't possible - because it is!

If I’m getting A’s in my mocks now at AS level, is it possible to get A*s in the real things?

You can't get A*'s until A2 (year 13) but if you are getting A's now then keep going! And if you continue that way you will definitely get A*'s at A2. I remember in my first mocks getting every letter of the alphabet so you're on the right track!

It is to some extent but its way more interesting because all the concepts you didn't understand last year you now do understand! I was worried about starting Year 13 but really if you're organised and have the motivation it turns out all right!

No it's not "unrealistic" . Ibz mo got average GCSEs, much lower than yours and with hard work and determination he got 2 A*s and 1 A so aim high and you'll be surprised at the results
