So I'm doing 4 A Levels (Maths, F.Maths, Physics, Economics) but unis only give 3 required grades on their website. What does this mean?
Oxford has an offer of A*AA for my course, but would they change the offer for my circumstances? Or would I be able to get A*AAE and still be allowed on?
    Thank you

It's kinda variable. If they like you, you might get a 3-grade offer or if they aren't quite so sure a 4-grade offer. Outside the top few universities it'll all be 3-grade offers though.

A lot of admissions tutors have confirmed that having four A-Levels does not give you an advantage. I wouldn't advocate taking 4 A-Levels, just because AAAA isn't exactly equivalent to A*AA (with the latter being the better results).

4 A-Levels really isn't beneficial and just creates more work for yourself.

I am aware of this, but I have already chosen my options and been doing them for 3 months. My school only offered further maths as a 4th option and I really really needed to take it because I'm looking to do Physics at uni. I'm not really talking about them giving me an advantage, I'm just asking how offers would actually work. So thank you, but I'm really happy with my choices, even if they don't give me an advantage
