How do you revise economics (resources, methods etc.)?

How do you learn after doing (AQA) Economics past papers?

I understand that for maths, you do it and you mark it, what you got wrong you go over and keep a list of the questions you got wrong to do them again later.

For economics, apart from the multiple choice, how do you learn from doing the past paper?

Since the spec is from 2015, is it worth doing papers from prior, all the way to 2009 (physics and maths tutor includes papers up to 2009)?
