    Hi,
I'm planning to apply to one of the Cambridge mature colleges in March next year. I applied a couple of years ago and was offered an interview but family circumstances meant I couldn't attend the access course, so I halted my access course and now I'm doing it again, with 28 distinctions gained so far.

I was just wondering if anyone else had had experience with applying to Oxbridge or if there's any current students here? I look forward to your replies!

Oxford's Department of Continuing Education is very popular with mature students. I'm hoping to apply there next year, but this obviously isn't the same as being a full time, matriculated student (unless you're applying to a Postgraduate course, in which case you'll be part of one of the colleges).

What are you going to be applying to study at Cambridge?

Check out @cambtweeteduc on twitter - a mature student at Downing, studying education. You can tweet them with any questions, and also look out for our general Q&A session running in the near future (hopefully over next weekend).

I'm applying to Oxford in this cycle as a mature access course student!
