Hi, this is a question for anyone who is doing/has done heir GCSEs. I was just wondering what the best way to prepare for your exams would be and if I should be worried if I'm not achieving the grades that I hoped for at the beginning of Year 10. Thanks for any help!
1. Understand the core material. Make good notes and relearn the bits which you find difficult, so you get up to speed. Making notes, looking at videos, making mind maps are all good ways of understanding.
2. Make revision notes/ mind maps, then start practicing exam questions.
If you arent getting the grades you want, then identify why. Is it because you dont understand the material or your answers are just insufficient?
Revision books and videos help. Practice. Learn from your marks and id where you lost marks, then keep improving.
You have to put the effort in. No need to panic, but do plan your revision and put the time in.
