One thing I have noticed is that many females study psychology in general. I've always wondered why that is. It's very rare to see males studying psychology.

What does everyone else think about this?

Because they are naturally more inclined to, like how men are naturally more inclined to study stem subjects.

I'm a guy studying A level psychology ( year 13) and trust me, there are loads of male psychologists about. most of the studies etc are made by males. So i don't think it's mostly female orientated. There's a good amount of females and males i think.

Although, tbf, i am 1 of 3 males doing psychology in my year compared to about 20 females hahaha.

Why should it be a female-oriented subject? As for me, I prefer psychological works written by men, it means that studying psychology is the field, where men can be even more progressive than women.

    What?
I'm saying that psychology is definitely not female-only subject. Men are as good at studying as well as tutoring it.

Absolutely not. On the contrary, a sense of equality..

As a general rule, women study social sciences. There are other subgroups such as medicine and humanities, but they're all overwhelmingly social.

This makes social-oriented males uncommon and therefore valuable. Their niche lies in their ability to reconcile both genders scientifically, if they are able.

Males tend to nail theories to the floor, and build a house on them. Woman are more inclined to decorate and entertain novel possibilities.

I can give examples, it's biologically and psychologically unalterable, and I approve.

First of all, psychology in the 21st century is basically a science. While it may be try that there are more women in fields like social psychology or counseling, there are many more specializations. In cognitive psychology, biological psychology, neuroscience et cetera, the percentages of men and women are pretty equal (and sometimes men dominate)

Psychology is often considered a stem field.
