If in a table, a title has hundreds of millions
And the number 3000 is under it.

Does this mean 3000 hundreds of millions?

    What about 300?
    Is this 300 million?

Yes, it is 3000 hundreds of millions which is equal to 300 billion or 3x10^11.

300 would be 300 hundreds of millions which is equal to 30 billion or 3x10^10.

Is 300 under the heading "hundreds of millions"? Then it's 300 hundreds of millions.

This is really getting confusing. This is why people should just use standard form.

If the title is "hundreds of millions"

add 2 zeroes (hundred) onto the 3000 then add another 6 zeroes (million)

    3000 hundred million

    300000 million

    300000000000
