I'm currently studying in the 11th grade in Canada. I am on track to get a high SAT score based on my PSAT scores. How applicable are SAT scores if I want to apply to an English university?

I want to attend Cambridge/Oxford maths/physics and I have checked the Cambridge website... They don't seem to take SAT scores and instead ask for AP or IB results. I take advanced courses at school, which are not technically classified as AP but are at the same difficulty level. Would I still be able to take the AP tests? Is it more difficult to get in as an international student?
