hi guys, i applied for undergraduate uni studies for medicine studies at Cambridge and and UCL. They require BMAT scores as part of selection. i could not register and write them because at that time i had to was writing my final A Level examinations plus i had no internet connection. i went to the British Council last week, where its a registration centre. They told me i had been late coz the 2017 BMATs had been already closed. Am I able to write during next year BMAT session and still enter UNI the same year, please help guys im kinda stuck.

Short answer is probably NO - you need to sit the exam this year (2017), then be interviewed (Dec2017 - March 2018) to start in 2018. How can they use the BMAT to assess your application if you are already at University.

If you had serious circumstances that meant you could not sit the BMAT this year, you should write to the University you are applying for. However, I doubt it will make a difference as the exam was 2 weeks ago and the application deadline was a month ago.
