I'm a year behind in school so year 10 but I'm 16. Can I drop out of school? Do I have to have parents to confirm they're ok with it?

Stay in school, and finish your GCSEs.
And yes, as your under 18 you need parents permission, but the UK law states that until your 18 you must be in full time education.
Why else do you want to leave school? I'm a year behind at school as well, and that has never really bothered me...

Technically no but i'm not entirely sure what they're going to do to make you stay in a classroom...
