I was revising the "More Biological Molecules" Section and was wondering if i needed to know the whole Meselson and Stahl experiment since i've not seen a question asking me to detail it . Not sure whether it'd be a waste of time to make notes on it, so any heads up?

Hi. I do OCR A Biology and I'm pretty sure it's not directly named on our spec (this might be wrong), but looking at past papers I have seen it across all exam boards. It's normally an application of knowledge style question. So it's up to you whether to learn it, if you're strong on the subject you may just be able to apply it in the exam, but having seen it at least once every couple of years, you may as well just try and learn it.
