    okay so im studying
    bio
    chem
    psych and
    philosophy ,ethic &Christianity
i got 6 As and 4 bs ( terrible because at the time i didnt know how important it would be so i admit i was silly and lazy and didnt work as much as i should have) another excuse is i was close to next grade by one more for every gscse but didnt get it remarked and its too late now

i originally wanted to pursue Dentistry but thought i'm not clever enough for it so now i'm looking at healthcare like nursing and midwifery .

My question is would i have a chance honestly or should I peruse healthcare instead?

Those are good GCSEs. Not amazing but good. Work on the other aspects of your application, be able to answer to yourself convincingly why you want to do it and what about it particularly appeals. Once you can answer to yourself then work on how you can convince others i.e. personal statement and interview. Get experience and read documents from the official sources (a good place is the website of medical/dentistry councils) so you can find out what the career is actually like instead of what it used to be like or is conventionally thought to be like.

Then focus on the admissions tests and try to get a good score. A strong score (also personal statement) can easily bring up weaker aspects of your application and get you to an interview. After that its all up to you I'm afraid and will depend on your passion showing your best qualities in the interview, and then of course to reach the required grades.

Best of luck on your journey!

As long as you meet the basic entry requirements, you will be clear to proceed. Make sure you do well in UKCAT, get good work experience and a proper personal statement. Many med schools heavily base their offers on interview performance anyway so you'll be ok.
