    we have to use new software for programming, and i really can't get my head around eclipse. the interface is so different to netbeans. i've been attempting to do some coding at home but i keep messing up when i have to pick a certain type of file/project and setting up class/package; i can't work out how to delete the previous projects made.

    i looked up how to delete the project but i don't know how to even do the first step- i don't know what navigation view means

    Head over to File --> New --> Java Project --> Name the project --> Press next until the project is created.

    Right click your project and add a new class, call it whatever you would like. Make sure you tick the box that says public static... [args] in the create new class box. If you don't just add this method:

    public static void main(String[] args) {
    // TODO

    Code as normal.
