# Cosine maths watch

1. Can someone please tell me how to work out this question, I’m not sure if I’m doing it right and someone has decided to rip the answers out the textbook my teachers have given me.

You want to label your own diagram, given the information. After you sketch your bearings, the answer to (i) should be pretty simple to work out. Then (ii) is just the cosine rule using the two given side lengths, and the angle you find in (i)
3. a diagram showing the various positions is important. it does not need to be a scale drawing, just a reasonable layout.
