You're more likely to get into Cambridge than Oxford. Oxford put more pressure on GCSEs.

If this question is about GCSE, then you should really just ask about Oxford as it actually takes GCSE into consideration for giving interviews etc.

So what's the lowest you guys have heard of someone getting into Oxford for a competitive course?

    I agree. I think he got like all B's, C's and D's. No A's or A*'s. But in A-level he got A*A*A.

He applied as a "mature" student with A-levels completed. GCSEs are even less relevant in those cases.

    Indeed.

As said above - Ibz Mo!

I had a friend who had an offer to study for Law in Cam. with 2A*’s, 5 A’s and a few B’s. They didn’t meet the offer, but it was still given to them.

Edit - I don’t mean that 7 A/A*’s is at all bad. Just lower than your typical successful applicant.

I got 17 A*s at GCSE but I got an offer so you can still get in with bad GCSEs
