I have applied for a hairdressing course in college and have an interview next wednesday. I was planning on wearing a burgandy leather skirt, black roll neck and ankle boots with tights but I’m not sure whether this would be appropriate.

Please do not wear excessive make up. It is not a TOWIE audition.

As long as you look presentable, you should be fine. By the sounds of it you've got it sorted. For a college interview there isn't really a dress code. As your interview is for hairdressing I would make sure your hair is done in anyway which makes you feel comfortable, this goes for the clothes you choose to wear too. This is because most people tend to gain more confidence when they feel comfortable, you can't choose where you interview is, but you can choose what you wear.
