I'm not sure where to post this thread.

I am currently in Year 1 on a psychology (BSc) degree after completing the foundation year last year. This degree is due to last till 2020.

I'm not enjoying it and due to a long distance relationship would like to transfer closer to my partner.

I'm wondering how to go about applying for a transfer to a uni closer down south and the chances of getting in?

I've read the module overviews and course and uni details of the one's I'm interested in but the one I really want has not emailed me back and it's been weeks. I'm time-conscious given it's mid-november and applications close in Jan.

Has anyone gone down the transfer route? Was it complicated?

Contact them by phone. E-mails can be too passive.

It is possible depending on the factors below, but not widespread.

Is it another psychology course?

It depends on.

Qualifications.
If they accept transfers.
Exam scores.
Compatibility of course.
Comparability.
