It’s pretty simple.
Should students who consistently achieve good grades be given some kind of cash bonus?
Is any sort of reward justifiable?
Should you only be studying for your own sake?

What do you guys think?

The reward of good grades is having the opportunity to go to a fancy university from which you can look down at all the worthless peons and boost your ego! *evil laugh* ...but no i don't think they need any cash. xD

It might be a good motivator, but it's not good for the student. The reward is the thing you're studying for and your own personal satisfaction, not cash.

Where's the money coming from?
Hypothetical question. Assume infinite money source.

Or, failing that, think of this as a replacement for any scholarship/gifted and talented programs. Going even further, if this is implemented nationwide, should schools set aside a dedicated 'rewards' budget?

You may use this strategy only if you pay someone for your homework, but defenitely not bargaining your teacher. For example, when I needed to write a coursework, I paid for it at Supreme Essays service, and it wasn't concerning my tutor at all.

Waste of money. The majority of the people getting 'rewarded' would get good grades regardless because they understand their value.
