How long does it take for universities to come back to you with offers generally?
i have applied for bristol, Leeds, southampton and Queens..all of them computer science

It can take variable amounts of time for universities to get back to you. Obviously the sooner you sent it off the sooner you will receive replies. Unfortunately some universities can take longer to get back to you than others, but this shouldn't be a detriment to you. This is because you won't be asked to choose which university you want to put as your firm choice until you get all 5 responses, and they will all remain open until a specified date - usually in May.

Unis have to reply by 3rd May. Some unis will send replies earlier, but they have loads of applications to review so it does take a while.
