What's the difference between synergy and combined science at gcse

IThat's it?
In the one that takes up more options, do just do more science and do each science as a separate gcse rather than get 2 gcses from double science, at least that's how normal gcse worked.

No I mean so you've got triple science where you get three gcses
And then you have combined where you get two, and then also synergy where you get two I was not sure the difference

I have no idea what you mean by synergy in this context. The GCSE options for Sciences are Combined Science (1 qualification worth 2 GCSEs), Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Thank you
AQA have arranged their combined science (i.e. two GCSE science exams) in two different ways. They call one 'synergy' and one 'trilogy'.
In trilogy it is arranged, and examined, under the heading biology, chemistry and physics.
In synergy it is arranged and examined more under topics (e.g. life and environmental science or physical science.)
I think they pretty much cover the same material, and both count as 2 GCSEs, it's just the way the material is arranged. It's to help schools with different teaching arrangements really
