How did you get 969\sqrt{6}?
Sorry if its confusing but if you re write with square roots instead it should make sense

1.

√24 + √150 - 2√ 96

2.

(√4 x √6) + (√25 x √6) - ( 2 x 16 x √6 )

3.

2√6 + 5√6 + 2√6 --> this is what I did wrong I didn't multiply it I added it, it should be (-8√6)

Thanks!! Sorry about this!

Sorry, thanks for the help guys -- I made such a stupid mistake :P
root 24 can be written as root 4 x 6 and becomes 2root6
root 150 can be written as root 25 x 6 and becomes 5root6
for 2root96, let's first split up the 2 and the root96 to simplify this
root 96 is the same as saying root 16 x 6 and is simplified to 4root6, since there are 2 lots of this, this becomes 8root6

Can you follow through with this now?
@Notnek Amazing how most often people jump to the 'full solution trigger' as soon as they see a GCSE question. Wish they all did that for my undergrad Q's :hmmmm2:
