I applied for the same programme in early October and then was 'under review for months' and when I called them to say I had an exploding offer they said they could fast track my application by the end of January!!! Ended up withdrawing my application...Sorry no help with the interview just wanted to rant as I was a bit suprised by the fact that they delayed their recruitment so long and I bet their are others who have done the same to them

Very true.Their review process took forever or they simply waited for the deadline to pass to look at all applicants; either way I was about to forget that I had even applied

Where else did you apply Samoan if you don't mind me asking?

I did it last week and know someone that did it this week - was more or less just a chat, covered things like your education, work experience, what you do at uni, why work at a IM house instead of with an investment bank and a bit about valuation methods. I didnt really get any comp questions. On the same note is anyone else going to the AC on the 27th?

I assume you mean a telephone interview? I have the same this Thursday. Have already had a first round (and am booked for AC) with RCM - which was not at all technical in first round. No reason to expect it will be dramatically different but would be grateful if anyone has any knowledge!

Good luck biraj

Are any of these interviews for internship?

I applied for the investment summer internship ages ago (mid October) and didn't even get a numerical yet.
So either this is for grads or I'm pretty much out.

Ive applied for the grad scheme.
Dont worry, im guessing that they deal with internships after grad schemes are done.

Last year grad interviews for investment were supposed to start from 24th November. They never did, though.
i applied for grad scheme investment, but have not heard from them for some time so i emailed them today...they said they are still screening for graduate apps..hopefully i will get somewhere :frown:..i m really anxious.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm afraid that unlike most places, I actually heard back immediately from Fidelity (i.e. it was clearly an automatic response) to book an interview after the numerical test. Sounds like maybe you could have missed out.

Give it a day or so and get in touch with them if you don't hear back - if you're just 1 mark off maybe they'll appreciate the initiative. Can't do any harm either way. Best of luck
