There are loads of companies, how do I find which company is looking for graduates? Is there a list of companies available?

I would highly recommend Gradcracker as UWS mentioned, that's a huge one for IT roles, and is actually where I found my current job, if I remember rightly!

Do you want to work in a company/do a grad scheme in the IT department or work for a company that is an IT company?

I think I would do any. I am applying now for graduate scheme jobs via Gradcracker. I thought graduate scheme jobs are easier to get as they don't expect you to know everything as if you would apply just for a normal job?

have any of you used Linkedin and contact managers/recruiters directly ?

They are still very competitive, so you'd have to get through each stage of the application process as you would a normal job; they provide training so they don't expect you to know everything from day one though, you're correct on that front :yep:

Basically, I should apply for a job that asks for 3 years experience (in particular role) even though I don't have that experience?
