Which halogenoalkane reacts fastest with warm NaOH (aq)?
A. (CH3)3CCl
B. (CH3)3CBr
C. CH3CH2CH2CH2Cl
D. CH3CH2CH2CH2Br

Why is the answer B? Isn't D using a Sn2 mechanism which means it's faster?

sN1 is faster (tertiary)
Br-C bond weaker than C-Cl bond
