If you want to work in the sector that the apprenticeship is in (and the area that the degree is in (ie mechanical engineering)) then 100% the apprenticeship), there is no downside to the apprenticeship imo. you get a degree for free and lots of work experience making you very very employable compared to a lot of graduates if you decided you wanted to either change field (to something that just requires any degree) or change to a different company.
