actually the fault lies not in lnat, but in pearson professional. lnat consortium sets the test, but pearson administers it. being the administrator pearson has 100% responsibility to ensure that each and every paying candidate can sit through the test smoothly. im freaking angry now but theres nothing i can do. i hav phoned lnat, phone this phone that, emailed but nthing. today my test centre called and inform me that the lnat is aware of this and has claimed that the deeadline will be extended indefinitely and we will not be penalised for taking it beyond deadline. but im skeptical because the staff who broke this news to me was kinda shifty and her language, obfuscatory. very dubious very confusing. theres no black and white, no official letter, nothing, no confirmation, no affirmation, no guarantee. i dont even know whetehr the lnat universities are aware of this glitch. hell i feel like im wondering around aimlessly. i phoned lnat customer service, but he directed me to the email. i emailed, but no one responded.
this is the first time i feel such frustratio nand helplessness. i have came across many instances in the news whereby consumer's rights are infringed and this, frankly speaking, is the first time when i really experience the agony of it myself. up against a vast organisation with so many layers of hiearachy and echelon, its massively troublesome and beaurecratic and there are so many contact sources but none has been able to give me a clear, concise, satisfactory answer to this problem. i badly need an advice now. any idea how i can contact some lnat big boss? i need to talk to someone in authority, someon who can make decisions, no intermediaries who only knows how to repeat the parrot sentence " the team is still working on it..we are trying our best..sorry for the inconvenience..theres nothing we can do now..". this is the ONLY test centre in singapore and this screw up has caused major inconvenience to a significant number of lnat candidates, me included. now we are all confused as to whether our ucas will be affected, and whether it will disadvantage us in the admissions cycle.
help pls
