Anyone bothering with Black Friday today? Or have you ever gotten a good deal on a Black Friday before?

I'm resisting the urge to go into town or go online to see if any Yankee Candles are on sale. I must not give into temptation, I have about 50 odd candles yet to use :teehee:

It seems to be rubbish this year. I've had a nose; but there's nothing worth buying it seems.

I'm resisting the urge to look even a little bit. I've been really bad with my spending in the last month so I need to stop before it gets too bad.

Yeah sure, just donate me about a million pounds and you'll find the effects of happiness shortly after a couple of hours. On a serious note though, you can buy short term feelings.

Hope to buy my parents something special although I am yet to find something which appeals them. Something not too expensive because I am saving up for summer when I can by my mum and dad some good stuff on their birthdays.

    Yesterday price £169.00
Today this particular company advertised Great New Price £169.

So glad I did research yesterday.

Picked up all 7 ASOIAF books for £20 down from £60, also Assassin's creed origins for £30. Can't beat 3 months of Spotify for the price of one too!

Some retailers started Black Friday days ago. You’d need to look at last weeks price.
It’s against the law to say it’s a sale if it was the same price yesterday

Whether I can find the motivation to play it or not well.....

nothing, i'm not a sucker to that sort of shiz. they actually increase the prices first and then put a 'sale' on, making the customer believe they are getting a bargain when in actual fact you are paying a decent amount of money for a crap label. more fool you.
