Year 12 exams advice

Im really confused with the year 12 AS exams as they said its linear so i take business studies with the intention of dropping it but will i get a certificate or is the exam made by the school so i won't

Okay so basically if you're planning to drop Business in Year 12: You do the exam. Whatever grade you get will be kept on the certificate. You have to enter this grade on to your UCAS application if you plan to apply to Uni the next year.

So is the exam i take made by AQA or by the school
