I'm currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics and English Lit - planning to take Further Maths AS rather than full A Level. I got 3 9s for GCSE last year, and while Maths A Level seems ok so far, Further Maths is just so abstract and everything is brand new to me. I have a maths tutor who was great for GCSE maths, chem, physics and is fine for A Level Maths but has been of little help with Further Maths. I get as much help out of my teachers as I can (ie asking for help after almost every lesson). I achieved 68% in my first further maths test on complex numbers and matrices, but I feel like I won't even achieve 50% this term. What should I do? I'm looking to study economics at uni which is why I picked further maths in the first place, but I'm also considering law. It has also been difficult moving schools - at my last I was one of the best in the year, but at my new school I'm fairly average. If anyone has advice it would be much appreciated! I'm doing the new spec 2017 edexcel further maths as if that helps.
