How do they calculate grades?

For example, each part of the German GCSE is worth 25% so what if you get a 3 in speaking and a 5 in the rest, what would your grade be?
It's actually calculated on marks - say you got 25 marks in 3 papers and 15 on the other, then you'd get 90 marks overall and the grade boundaries are based on your overall marks, not the 4 grades put together

That makes sense, thank you. I just really hope the speaking exam is easy.
