I did chemistry for life. I thought it was a pretty ok paper but I messed up a couple of answers as I realised after when I read throguh my revision guide. (note to self- never read through your book after the exam- it only results in tears) Did anyone else do this exam and how did they find it?
It was fine till I looked at my revision guide haha. I reckon I dropped between 3 and 10 marks. The very first question threw me, what did you put? and the very last question on the back nobody had a clue on.
Oh and there was that name the cycloalkane with the big alkyl group on it, Pentylheptane I think I got.
^ I didn't sit the exam, but it it was a cyclohexane with a big alkyl group on it, it would be pentylcycloheptane or cyclopentylheptane, I would think...?
Yeh the first question would have been easy but they had to make up some crappy story just to throw us! I said something about fuels having carbon in them.
I got like 2-ehtyl-2methyl heptane or some long ass answer like that for that cyclohexane one
OMG the last question, what the hell was that about? I actually had no idea!
