Have looked through the forums, but can't seem to find much information. Anybody have any insights, especially with regard to what a first round interview is like? This is for a summer internship.

Evercore Partners is a very prestigious firm and gives you great exit opps. I would say that you will be working just as hard as an m&a team in a BB and the deal flow will be just as good.

Evercore also have a excellent restructuring group that deal with both debtor and creditor side which may be a very interesting group to be in this summer.....when is your first round>?

Yes, love the culture as well. Restructuring is small atm in Europe but growing.

Good firm, excellent deal flow. Bonuses above street but you expected to work much much harder than BB. Most small prestigious firm analysts get killed 1st yr...but rewarded better

hey ive got interview with evercore this coming week! but i applied to corporate advisory division instead..but they are better at restructuring advisory? i'm lost :s-smilie:

There is no restructuring in the London office; M&A is what they do.
