In my quest to find a new Ka, I'm currently comparing these two.

Which would you go for?

Neither; there's no photos, and they're both Ford Ka's!

I know, obviously I'd go and see them first.

What's the problem with them being a Ka?

It's a Ford Ka, what's there more to say?

It’s a cheap and cheerful
Motor but it’s not in anyway exciting or special. I’d personally go for the newer one because it probably has better features for the price

I wouldn't get a new KA if I were you. There are far better small cars of similar age on the market second hand.

There is nothing cheerful about a KA. Upgrade and get a fiesta.

I would pick the older one. 2005 is not an age that would have seriously bad effect on rubber seals or condition of bodywork, while lower mileage should be an advantage particularly for gearbox. In this case I would only consider the newer one if this was a second gen Ka, because it's safer and technically it's identical with Fiat 500/Panda (type 169), which woul be beneficial for me because I have a Panda for 12 years so I know it better, plus it never broke down.

Better features means more things that can break down.
