In terms reputation, what are the top five worst universities (outside of London - except London Met)?

Those universities you cringe at when you hear 'I studied at X'?

What are you basing this statement on? The quality of the university? Student experience? It’s all opinion based... people hate universities for their own reasoning. Yes there are probably some lower rated universities than the rest.

I would say Hertfordshire could be thrown in there. Might be an individual case, but from what I’ve heard: tutors never communicate with students, constant absences from tutors, hard to access student support, lectures aren’t engaging, disorganised, not the best ranking, not the greatest location, it’s either awful or great for a subject (no mid-point), a lot of the students are wasters, and so on. But that’s just what I’ve heard from a couple of friends’ experiences.

One that I've herd is quite bad (well it's good but very ridged in it's rules like a 2000 word assignment means 2000 words 2001 or 1999 gives you zero) is Durham also if you change your mind on results day they won't release you into clearing for weeks,

Not everything from him is bad, but the university is a total scam.

This is a discussion about UK universities though, so it is completely irrelevant.

Was never mentioned explicitly so I thought I'd throw it in.

Serious answer: You can't exactly put unis in a list from best to worst, but any uni that you're not motivated at is a bad one.

Not true, for law at least. You get zero for 10% over the word count, and you lose 1 mark for every 1% you are over the word count. In that way, it is quite flexible.

Nevermind, there was another purpose behind my post but I guess I was wrong.
