personally, I thought it was fairly alright, but I'm kind of pissed off with myself because it was a decent exam and I don't think I did exceedingly well. I was sort of hoping for an A to bump my overall grade up to a B or A, but this is definitely feeling like an A overall.

what did everyone get for the second to last question, where it asked what could react with the tertiary alchohol group, what gas it would give off, and what the organic product would look like? Have a bad feeling about that one...

I think it reacts with sodium metal (Na) and generates hydrogen gas

    D: dang

I put Sodium Borohydride and O2 gas...although I still reckon that works.

do they accept alternate answers if they're right, even if that's not what they're asking for?

The examiners will all have knowledge in chemistry, so they mark it accordingly. Feel as though I managed 77-83%, finger-crossed for an A. Best of luck on results

^ nicely done if you're feeling that confident. Good luck, too.

also, reading around, it seems fairly obvious that that's not the answer, but oh well, I'll live I suppose.
