Is there any way to access the memberlist of the site? Ie to retrieve IDs from usernames or to search for a member?
Ie the old http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/memb....php?do=search

We don't keep a public directory of users any more as there are simply too many, it's a big performance drain. Searching for particular users is also not possible with the search technology we have on the site at the moment.
You can get to a member's profile if you know their exact username though, using the somewhat lesser known profile URL https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/member.php?username=, e.g. https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/mem...p?username=Dez
You can also "ghetto search" a user by @mentioning them in a post. If you click "advanced" and then switch to basic mode (the A/A button) it'll display the user ID.
