Uni help

I am planning to apply to Warwick, Nottingham, Southampton, Lancaster, Manchester and Aston to read business management. Which of these unis does anyone recommend and are any of these not good enuff. I recon i will probably AABb or ABBb. Does this make it difficult for me to get it as i am unlikely to get 3A's. My A2's are Geo, Physics and Business Studies with my AS in maths.
Thx
P.S. Anyone have any other recommendations with unis for my course?

I've visited Nottingham and thought the campus was really nice and apparently Warwick has a fantastic campus. I would assume that both unis would be good for your course as they are both reputable unis. Can't really say anything specific about your course as I'm not familiar with it, sorry.

At most institutions, the case is that - admissions tutors will not even consider your application unless u hav met the minimum grade requirements (predicted grades). i.e. they will not even read your personal statement if u are predicted ABB and the course requires AAA

Do u get it? Unfair as it might seem.
you shud check with the institution - to make sure of wat their approach is.

I considered Warwick - it has an fantastic campus and loads of new state of the art facilities. Huge theatre and the like. They will make high offers though.

Warwick, Nottingham, Southampton, Lancaster and Manchester are ranked in the range 5th (Warwick) - 17th (Manchester). And then Aston is ranked 49th.

If you can get AAB, then you should be able to get into any of these though Warwick may offer AAA. Maybe you should reconsider applying to Aston, if you want to be in Birmingham, why not apply to Birmingham University which is ranked 25th or somewhere like Liverpool (34th).

i got an offer of AAA (inc. math) for economics from warwick, didnt want to go there tho seemed a bit soulless (too new for my liking). besides want to do physics now anyway.

I'm going to Warwick, it's wonderful, really green and lively. Nottingham was my insurance, lovely campus, large student orientated city. Only thing with Nottingham is that they refuse to acknowledge you unless you have them as a firm choice, like I didn't get any info from them like accommodation etc. Looked at Southampton, didn't like it at all really, although heard great things about it. Science block was a bit bland for me, not too sure about your course though.

Although Aston is reasonably low in the tables they do a good course in Business Administraion with another subject such as Human psychology. ( There are some other choices but i can't remember) What Aston does offer that most other university courses don't is a sandwich year where you work in a firm for a year that is relevant to your course. This is good because Employers willl be interested in the experience you have gained and there's a possibility of the firm you worked at for the year offering you a job after uni. Experience is more valuable than 3 years of theory.

ERM, well, is the person who posted this thread going to do his/her research on how good the campus is?
