    Hi , Im stuck on this Bio qestion. A needle is able to float on a beaker filled with water, float on the surface that is. I've been told that is due to surface tension and the cohesion properties of water. Can someone please explain why the needle floats in realtion to the surafce tension and cohesion properties?
