Hi,

Talk about complex carbohydrates (with repeating identical units or otherwise [strength of cellulose + stability of starch/glycogen for storage, etc]) proteins (with potentially 20 different units = amino acids)[their numerous roles in physiology [haemoglobin [oxygen-binding], enzymes [active site: lock and key hypothesis], antibodies [specificity], receptors [again complementary to chemical [neurotransmitter or hormone] acting on them], , nucleic acids (their role in controlling function [intra-individual AND in genetics]), glycoproteins [extrinsic proteins on plasma mrembrane], etc etc etc
