Formals

I know that catered accommodations have formals every so often, but do faculties or societies have them as well?
Not sure if all of them do it but my subject has a formal every year. Societies vary but some will have formal events (some do big joint ones).

Hiya,

That's right, halls have formals once or twice a term - subjects such as medicine will usually have formals a few times in the year too.
You can expect a variety of events and 'socials' if you join any extra clubs too!
