I send them to my immediate family, but don't bother sending them to anyone else. I like the idea of posting lots of cards, but I'm not sure people appreciate them much any more. I don't think anyone is offended or even bothered at all if they don't receive one.
Stamps are very expensive if you need a lot of them and I would rather make a donation to charity.
