    Brussel sprouts, yay or nay?

Personally I'm partial to a sprout, but I do cover it in black pepper.

I love them but wouldn't have them without gravy.

I don’t love them but I don’t hate them. I tolerate them but I definitely prefer eating them with another bit of food

Yummy. But only if boiled to oblivion. Got to be really mushy.
They’re nice in leftovers. Put mash potatoes, swede and other veg in a pan, fry with bacon cubes, drop in a few sprouts. Cover in gravy. Mmmmmm

Sprouts are great but the ones in the OP look disgusting. Just boil them up, put them on the plate and slap some gravy over them

Only consumable if had with something else, would rather the rest of my family have them as they actually like them.

Disgusting things, they are the droppings of Satan.

What sick twisted individual would defile bacon by wrapping it around a sprout?

I don't like them, yet my dad insists on having them. So I just cut them up and eat them with other foods to mask the taste.

I have a theory that people who dislike vegetables ate them as a child, found them bitter, and never gave them a chance with an older tongue.

Brussel sprouts are like that weird uncle who no-one likes but you are morally obliged to invite to Christmas dinner otherwise your nan gets arsey.

Sprouts are soooo nice! Although quite why you would ruin them by adding bacon is beyond me...Bacon is ok, sprouts are amazing, but together ruins them both!
Since they're so nice we've been having them every week since they've come into season :yum:

    Why would you boil them?

Chop 'em up and fry them with onion, garlic and bacon. Delicious.
