hi everyone, can somebody teach me to to detect valid and non valid outliers? I have got a datset of 48000 people, i can detect the outliers with r studio (boxplot), but how can I actually know if the outliers found are valid or not valid

Valid for what? What further analysis are you doing? Some methods are more robust and can handle outliers, others will be messed up if you leave them in.
