    Hello,

I’m going to Australia next academic year. I know you can get payments bought forward 25 days prior to my abroad university start date in July. I have previously been told I can have my payments split into 2 instalments rather than 3 due to only being 2 semesters. Australian government require you to show you have access to funds in your account. Would study finance pay in 1 sum?

    Thanks

    Joshua

    Hi Joshua,

If you will be studying in a country where you are required to show you are able to support yourself before you enter (including, but not limited to China, Russia or Japan) your funding can be paid in one instalment.

Like you've noted, normal practice for students going to Australia is to pay in two instalments to match the two semesters.

When the university sends us confirmation of your study abroad they can send a request for early payment and indicate how many instalments are required. Have a chat with them if you feel you will require to be paid in one instalment and they may be able to request this for you.

    Regards,

    Stuart
