Aero-mechanical engineering at Strathclyde
I have applied for this course starting in 2008 and have been asked to go to the depatment on January 23rd. Is anyone else applying for this going along on that day??

lol Thats me just back from my interview, I wouldn't worry much they didnt ask many questions at all really. The interviewer just explained a bit more in depth about the course and asked me about my interests and why i choose Aero-Mech at Strath.
The tour is pretty impressive.

Just a tour of the facilities within the department, you get to see the Labs, computing rooms etc.

Ah this thread is exactly what I'm looking for!!
I've got my interview planned for 13 Feb My mate went up for a software engineering interview and said he got a tour and a really informal interview with nothing challenging in it. Anyone who has been through it able to post the sort of questions the interviewer was asking?? Also, is it informal dress as well?? I don't want to appear under- or over-dressed!! 
It's the furthest forward I've got with my choices so far and, all being well, I think Strathclyde might be a good bet for the sort of course I'm interested. I'm hoping that it has a good deal of aeronautical-based modules in it. I'll soon find out I suppose!!

There were 30 people there altogether.
I wor my school stuff because i went straight from school in the morning, most people just wore casual stuuf like jeans and a shirt or something.
