How is it wrong?

A teacher is human after all - you can fall for anyone, so why not a teacher?

It's not wrong to fall for anyone.
What's wrong is to act irresponsibly and KNOW you're acting irresponsibly.

You know, like when Lisa Simpson falls in love with that Bergstrom bloke?
I was just wondering if it's something wrong. Personally I don't think it is, because you can't control your feelings.
What do you think?

I think most people have strong feelings for a teacher at some point. What might be wrong is how the teacher reacts in return, even if you are legally able to have sex they are still in a position of responsibility and can go to prison over it.
I guess it depends on the age difference. A load of girls at my school apparently fancied a PE teacher, who was only about 22. If it was one of the older teachers, it'd be a bit awkward.

i think, especially as you get into A levels, your teachers will share the same passion as you. so if the teacher in your favourite subject is hot, then there you go. and in the pe teacher sitch, to be a pe teacher, you should generally be quite in shape, so they would be quite hot. but you know!
its not wrong for a pupil to fall in love with a teacher, but it is wrong for a teacher to fall in love with the pupil

Since one cannot control who they fall in love with, this question is totally redundant. You might as well be asking, "Is it wrong to like apples?"

Again, it's not even wrong for a teacher to fall in love with a pupil, it's just wrong for them to show favouritism or act on it.

It's illegal for a teacher to have a relationship with anyone in full-time education ie until they've finished U6.

So legally it's very wrong!

Teachers arent human, therefore its wrong ._.

It's acting on it that's wrong.
Did nobody else notice the bizarre wording of this question?

I hope it's not wrong to fall in love with a teacher, or I'll lead a rather lonely life.
Falling in love with teachers is fine - falling in love with academics is difficult though. All that tweed and funny hats business. It's just... don't go there.

lmao. tweed and funny hats are hugely sexually attractive in my part of cambridgeshire, you know :P. but yes, teachers. i have no problem with it, i have had some crushes in my time, some reciprocal... as long as it doesn't go TOO far i reckon it's fine and natural

Love isn't a rational thing that can be bound by 'right' and 'wrong', not even when it's a question of a teacher falling in love with a pupil.
When I was 13 we had a Humanities teacher called Miss Broadley, all I could think about with having her over my desk and banging her into next week.. i think this experience (not that it actually happened) had effected my taste in woman, I have always since gone for older, curvy brunettes and still do

There's something quite nice about teachers actually (I used to dislike them when I was like 12 haha). We had a few cuties at my school, especially this Maths teacher!

It's not wrong to fall in love with a teacher. It's wrong to act upon it.

What, even if you're not that teacher's student?

I'm worried by all the people who seem to think teachers should be alone forever. :frown:

I think it's fine once you've left school (assuming both parties are single of course).
However, if both of you are still at that school, even if you don't teach/aren't taught by the other, there could be trouble.
I don't necessarily agree with there being trouble once the pupil is over the age of consent but there you go :p:
